Biographytions;
EMMETT ARDIE WILLIAMS
EMMETT was born in the nation’s capital Washington, DC in 1963.
EMMETT attended Art school at The Columbus College of Art and Design at age 11 in Ohio.
He studied at The Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC 1982-84.
He was the first recipient of the Marie Fredenburg-Torsani Memorial Award.
The Artist developed his cubist style after leaving the
Corcoran School of Art and began exhibiting in the DC Area.
EMMETT was named as African-American Arts-Festival Artist 2006.
The Artist recentlty exhibited at The Greenville Museum of Art 2008.
He
enjoys creating paintings in both classic and modern styles.
